Since establishing its first blending plants in the 1930s, Johnson has built on its Liquid Engineering heritage to produce fully synthetic engine oils, transmission fluids, coolants and greases for automotive use, engineered for everything from everyday passenger cars to hypercars such as Bugatti, Pagani, Ferrari and Lamborghini.
Johnson's automotive portfolio is built on nine decades of Liquid Engineering research, expressed today in the fully synthetic Platinum+ range — formulated with poly alpha olefin base stocks and low-SAPS additive technology for outstanding engine protection and a fast-flow cold-start property. Every grade is developed against exacting OEM specifications, including approvals from Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and Ford, delivering outstanding thermal and oxidation stability, active cleaning agents against sludge, and compatibility with high-ethanol fuels. The range runs from Classic and Silver grades for everyday motoring up to Platinum+ oils rated for hypercar manufacturers, alongside a Bio series of plant-based, carbon-neutral formulations for modern and hybrid engines. Across gasoline, diesel, CNG and hybrid platforms, the goal is the same: protect the engine, extend drain intervals, and keep it running clean.
