A MIL-PRF-5606 hydraulic fluid boosted with additional additives to improve natural lubricity, suitable for low-temperature operation. Its lubricity agent forms a stable thin film on metal surfaces in mild conditions, while the extreme-pressure additive carries the load at metal-to-metal contact during landing/touchdown, protecting the landing gear piston against ladder cracking and slip-stiction.
